2min readHi folks, been a while Iβve posted any food article. Time to break the silence π Today Iβm going to post one of my favourite and quick recipes β prawn roasted in butter and garlic.
To get started you needβ¦
- 2 mega tiger prawns
- Butter
- Salt
- Fresh lime
- Black pepper powder
- Turmeric
- Soy sauce
- Garlic
- Fresh mint leaves
- Fresh green chilly
- Love to cook π
Total preparation time: 30 Minutes or less
Marinade-r
Duration: 10 mins
Process:
Clean the prawns
Add a pinch of salt
Half teaspoon soy sauce
Pinch of black pepper
Tiny pinch of turmeric
Squeeze 1/4th fresh lime juice
Getting started
Let the prawns marinate for about 10-15mins. Meanwhile, letβs mince fresh garlic. Finely chop fresh green chilly. Chop fresh mint leaves.
- Melt butter in a pan on medium flame
- Add minced garlic
- Stir it β let it cook
- Add prawns to it, you will hear a sizzle π
- Let it cook for about 10/12 minutes
- Keep an eye on prawns β do not overcook, keep turning in the butter.
- Once you feel the prawns have changed colour to the below image.
- Add freshly chopped chilly β stir
- Add freshly chopped mint leaves β stir
Time when you feel prawns are cooked β add green chilly and chopped mint leaves
After adding green chilly and chopped mint leaves
Continue cooking it for more 7/10 minutes. Make sure prawns are cooked properly. Once done turn off the stove.
Squeeze 1/4 OR 1/2 fresh lime (I used small fresh lime) β stir it. Check the taste β if you think salt is required, as per your preference add more β¦
