2 min readHi folks, been a while I’ve posted any food article. Time to break the silence πŸ˜€ Today I’m going to post one of my favourite and quick recipes – prawn roasted in butter and garlic.

To get started you need… - 2 mega tiger prawns - Butter - Salt - Fresh lime - Black pepper powder - Turmeric - Soy sauce - Garlic - Fresh mint leaves - Fresh green chilly - Love to cook πŸ˜‰

Total preparation time: 30 Minutes or less

Marinade-r

Duration: 10 mins

Process:

  • Clean the prawns
  • Add a pinch of salt
  • Half teaspoon soy sauce
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Tiny pinch of turmeric
  • Squeeze 1/4th fresh lime juice

Getting started

Let the prawns marinate for about 10-15mins. Meanwhile, let’s mince fresh garlic. Finely chop fresh green chilly. Chop fresh mint leaves.

- Melt butter in a pan on medium flame - Add minced garlic - Stir it – let it cook - Add prawns to it, you will hear a sizzle πŸ˜€ - Let it cook for about 10/12 minutes - Keep an eye on prawns – do not overcook, keep turning in the butter. - Once you feel the prawns have changed colour to the below image. - Add freshly chopped chilly – stir - Add freshly chopped mint leaves – stir

Continue cooking it for more 7/10 minutes. Make sure prawns are cooked properly. Once done turn off the stove.

Squeeze 1/4 OR 1/2 fresh lime (I used small fresh lime) – stir it. Check the taste – if you think salt is required, as per your preference add more …

And we are done.
